MFP4 will deliver against this outcome and impact through the following two objectives: A. Growth in sustainable and legal timber production: Ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the national timber legality assurance system 'SVLK', which underpins FLEGT licencing, to further strengthen confidence amongst international buyers and domestic suppliers; B. Growth in community-based forest businesses: Catalyse community forest business development to foster more sustainable use of forests, reduce forest degradation and deforestation, and improve prosperity.
