To register your interest in these works your organisation must hold as a minimum: Constructionline Gold, Achilles BC Level 4 or CAS 1 day audit Tenders will then be issued with a three week return period. Scoring will be carried out within 2 weeks of return date. Requirements are scheme specific depending on power supply locations, verge widths to accommodate equipment and gantry locations. Solutions are dependent on the carriageway geometry to determine the number, type and location of installations. The Subcontract Scope for electrical, communications and technology works will be people, sub-subcontractors, Equipment, Plant and Materials to (where appropriate) - Take down existing equipment and return to manufacturer for re-conditioning - Take down existing equipment and remove off site to suitable recycling facility - Supply, install, test and commission technology infrastructure (comms sites, duct network, chambers, cabling, mini feeder pillars) for technology and lighting. - Install, test and commission equipment provided by others (ERT, VMS, HV cabling etc) - Statutory connections and works (Enforcement, DNO & NRTS) - Take down existing proprietary equipment, remove from site to recondition, refurbish or replace. - Supply, install, test and commission proprietary equipment which is not provided by Highways England through its centralised technology contracts - Design, supply, install and test special structures.
