The service will also support GP practices on IPC matters, though the portion of support for GP practices is funded by the ICB and is therefore excluded from this specification. The contribution to the service from SCC is intended to cover extended IPC provision for the following community care settings only: residential and nursing care homes domiciliary care supported living and Extra Care nurseries special schools children's homes places of supported accommodation for vulnerable people (including homeless and asylum seeker settings).",
