The works form part of Capital programme of works under Wildlife Ways and Small Habitats Grant. The contract comprises landscape and maintenance operations which includes selective felling, thinning, coppicing and woodland management operations. Collection/transportation of felled materials to be processed on site (chipped/mulched and spread, or stacking of cord wood etc.), and collection/transportation of felled materials (retained by the contractor) to be removed from site (as applicable). Consideration should be given to protecting the environment during the works as advised in Forestry Commission Technical Note 011.",
