The contract will be awarded in lots, therefore not necessarily awarded to one supplier. A selected number of schools (which will include the secondary school, Sir James Smith's School, and the schools currently providing an in-house catering service) will be visited over 7-9 March 2018. Suppliers invited to tender will need to have one representative per organisation to visit each school concurrently: 15 minutes mid-morning break and lunch services at each of the secondary schools. The contract will commence on 1 September for a period of 3 years, with a possible extension of 2 years by mutual consent and on the same terms and conditions as the original contract. Please note there are a number of staff in LGPS; actuary reports will be supplied and the successful supplier/s will need to sign an ABS agreement and pay for all associated costs.
