Rejuvenating and consolidating its transmission electron microscopy (TEM) requirements onto a single instrument are established priorities for the facility to provide TEM capabilities for a broad range of users from different research disciplines. The opportunity to purchase a multi-purpose TEM has arisen following the award of a BBSRC ALERT 22 grant.",
