Subject to progress with the study work, the Council may also seek to commission options assessments in Prudhoe, Bellingham, Haltwhistle and Rothbury. Working alongside the NCC project lead and Highways Design Office lead, the appointed contractor will develop a long list of potential public realm investments, setting out how each identified intervention will improve the local environment and amenity, benefit the town's economic growth, indicating the likely level of complexity in delivery and approximate cost.\"",
