This project forms part of a wider funding bid/ application by the Council into the Levelling Up Fund that will bring the lower ground floor of the Nicholson Institute back into use as a flexible space that will be used by Buxton and Leek College and the regional Registrar service together with the reinvigoration of the ground and first floors as a hub for the museum, gallery and library services. The outcome of the bid is expected to be announced at the end of 2022.",
