The scheme was established in 2010 and since then has supported over 100 practitioners to work towards professional registration. The Wessex support programme is a fundamental aspect of the public health practitioner scheme which enables individuals to develop their portfolio for registration. Following the independent evaluation of the scheme, learning from this has informed the development of this specification. The contract will be from 01 July 2018 to 01 October 2020, with the option to extend by a further 12 months at the Authority's discretion.
