The scope of works will generally include the erection of a new community hub building consisting of an office for the town council, meeting room, library, small cafe and seating area together with small sports hall with associated storage, changing rooms and offices. The works also include the provision of a new parking area, electric charging points, bicycle parking and associated storage and surfacing works. Work is expected to commence during October 2019 for a maximum of 42 weeks. The Council expects bids in the region of PS1.5m for the completion of the main works with bids in excess of PS1.6m unlikely to be accepted.
