The building is a visitor centre with exhibition space, cafe, conference rooms, retail, youth hostel and toilets. Based in a rural location it has mains electricity and water, an LPG gas supply, solar panels and an onsite sewage treatment plant. The internal floor area is 2,655 square metres. Annual visitors are expected to be 100,000 to 120,000 a year.",
