We would be looking to commission the model manufacture, tank testing and data collation and analysis to inform ongoing Trinity House designs which are looking to increase the stability of floating light structures. These are based on a 3mt diameter skirted buoy body which carries a superstructure on which are mounted navigation aids, principally, a light and its supporting power system. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.",
