The service would improve access to primary care services in Merton and support the direction of travel to enhance digital access to general practice in Merton and a 'digital first' approach. The capacity would be linked to the outputs of online symptom checkers and alternative digital/ other routes through which a need for sameday access is identified. A digital first approach to patient access with an integrated front door to primary care services through an app,smart phone friendly web-sites, digital telephony and online symptom checkers. Patients will have the ability to book appointments online and have video consultations. There will be additional same day capacity to enable this and a joint commitment from all practices to provide dedicated time for multi-morbid patients ensuring overall access to primary care services for patients are safe and equitable.",
