Objectives of the analysis include: To characterise the chemical fingerprints of wild succulent plants threatened by illegal trade, and their use in determining the geographic origin and provenance of the plant. Exploring the potential of an isotope marker applied through watering, to help trace cultivated plant specimens within commercial supply chains.
