The scheme is closed to new entrants and SLC transferred active members into the Civil Service Pension Scheme in 2020. Deferred members were due to transfer in October 2023 but this has been paused due to a legal case impacting UK pension schemes. Until this is resolved, there is a requirement for Mercer to provide this information for the ARA.",
