        "description": "This PhD proposal represents the first attempt to quantify the educational benefits of a controversial training modality that has historically been taken for granted. Research conducted within the field of medical education and specifically, trauma simulation, can be used to inform the training practices of the DMS and wider medical field. By quantifying the educational benefits of LTT, there will be a definitive framework for simulation innovators to work towards, particularly in the replacement of live tissue training.
