The microscope will act as the primary machine within the LIGHT Building and will serve the needs of a wide group of cell biologists. A major focus of research will be the examination of cell-cell interactions in blood vessels of experimental animals. The equipment needs to be modifiable to future proof the provision for new requirements that may arise.
