        "description": "You are invited to tender for the for the Conversion of the existing retail and cafe unit at Priory View, Dunstable into 8 residential apartments. Priory View is an Independent Living Scheme managed and owned by Central Bedfordshire Council. The building was constructed in 2015/2016 and is comprised of 82 self-contained apartments and some community facilities which includes a hair salon, a bar and restaurant open to the public and therapy rooms. Works will involve construction of a new first floor for the new apartments, M & E installation, new external facade, fit out of the new apartments and new landscaping. The existing building will be occupied during the works. The project has got planning approval, ref. CB/21/03224/REG3. Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can in order to help guide you through the Tender process. Questions asked together with the Council's response will be made available to all tenderers to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all.
