The AAP will sit alongside the recently adopted South Downs Local Plan (SDLP), which covers the plan period 2014-2033. Shoreham Cement Works is allocated under Policy SD56 of the SDLP for an exemplar mixed use development, which delivers a substantially enhanced landscape and uses that are compatible with the purposes of the National Park.",
