We recycle all the waste. Western Waste is WAMATAB registered site. We are a fully licensed site which provides a vital and unique service to the fishing industry and we have been trading for over 23 years. We are intending to purchase a new, dedicated agricultural building which is required to process waste scallop shell. As part of our aim to reduce our carbon footprint, we wish to install solar panels on the roof of this new building and purchase battery storage alongside to enable surplus electricity from solar to be stored and also to be able to 'top up' the battery from cheaper night rate electricity for day use.",
