The upgraded version of the EA will also ensure it is operating on the latest version, which will be compatible with the longer Microsoft life span. The CCW application and the EA itself are GE Healthcare proprietary technologies. Therefore changes/upgrades/enhancements can only be carried out by GE to ensure compliance with contractual terms and to maintain support of the system",
