Nottinghamshire County Council (the \"Authority\" also referred to as the \"Council\") provides a range of transport services across the County, which are co-ordinated by Nottinghamshire Transport and Travel Services (\"NTS\") based at Trent Bridge House, Fox Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6BJ. Nottinghamshire County Council has 5000 bus stops and around 5% of these currently have electronic displays installed. Nottinghamshire has a long-term project plan to fit LED & TFT signs displaying bus real time and scheduled information to a significant number of these bus stops through a rolling installation programme. Over the next 2 years, as part of the Local Transport Plan, NTS will continue to install bus stop poles for electronic displays at new and existing locations to raise the profile of bus infrastructure to a consistent standard countywide. The successful tenderer will be open to be utilised by the other authorities in the East Midlands region. These councils are Nottingham City, Leicester City, Leicestershire County, Derby City, Derbyshire County, Rutland County, Lincolnshire County and Northamptonshire County Councils. The contract shall be for a period of 2 years, commencing on 1st June 2019 and terminating on 31stMay 2021 (with option to extend at annual intervals for a period of up to 2 years).
