The provider/s will deliver a Termination of Pregnancy Service that adheres to national clinical guidelines, to the population of Sussex across 7 Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) areas. The anticipated value of the service across all 7 CCGS is approximately PS2Million per annum. The Commissioner is considering a contract period of 3 years plus an optional extension period. The key objectives of the service are: *To offer high quality, impartial support and advice to all service users who request an TOP, regardless of age, ethnicity, language, disability, sexual orientation, religious or personal circumstances *To provide service users with access to a TOP service within the nationally required target time *To provide TOP methods clinically appropriate for a service user's gestation and clinical circumstances *To improve the sexual health of service users through sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV screening of all service users *To provide information and advice on all methods of contraception and the supply of the full range of reversible contraceptive methods This RFI process is designed to help the Commissioner form a view of the best way to commission the service and is not the beginning of a tender exercise. A further tender advertisement will be issued as/if required. Your feedback at this point will not have a bearing on any future Tender submissions you may wish to offer at a later date should the Commissioner undertake a procurement for this service. You will not be disadvantaged if you choose not to respond to this RFI but it will be helpful to understand your views at this early stage, so you are encouraged to respond as fully as you can.
