STFC has a requirement for the ongoing maintenance of its design software and associated data management software. The applications currently in use are Solid Edge for mechanical design and Teamcenter for data management, both supplied by Siemens PLM Software. The support and maintenance agreement for these applications expires on 31st December 2017. STFC currently has a total of 94 licences for Solid Edge and Teamcenter. Around 90% of these are in use at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire with the remainder being installed at the Daresbury Laboratory near Warrington. The maintenance agreement must contain the following elements: * Telephone technical support required Monday - Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm * Email Support * Response time to all technical issueses within 24hours. * Electronic logging and tracking of support requests * Emergency on-site support when required * Access to all service packs and upgrades * Access to the Siemens GTAC web support site * Update seminars and user groups * Training - ability to specify custom training courses, delivered either at the suppliers site or on-site at RAL at an agreed cost with a minimum of two sessions per annum. * Dedicated account manager Additional information: As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite.
