A fundamental part of delivering the Prevent objectives and countering local threats is our work with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in local communities. We are keen to build the strength of these organisations to allow them to increase their capacity for delivery by supporting them to follow best practice models in their approach to business development. Lot 1: Business Development and Fundraising Assessments Through the assessment and analysis of the CSOs business practices and approach to fundraising you will identify areas of improvement and/or training requirements that will be presented to the CSO and the HO in a detailed report. The assessment should include but not be limited to the following key areas: * Governance * Funding Streams * Staffing * A summary of recommendations Lot 2: Business Development and Fundraising Training By providing training to the CSOs, the expected outcomes would be to see an increase in external funding to the groups that we currently fund, improvement in their knowledge of profit-making business models, staffing structures and better project and programme management.
