        "description": "The purpose of this questionnaire is to provide suppliers with the opportunity to inform the development and ongoing management of a future procurement for the supply of firefighter pension administration & payroll and the provision of employee payroll. This is information gathering to assist in informing the output requirements developed by Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service (DSFRS) and decisions about the strategy, scope, structure and nature of the procurement. This is a collaborative procurement undertaken by Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service in collaboration with Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service (D&W FRS). Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Services (DWFRS) combined on 1st April 2016 there is a requirement for them to harmonise the Service's Fire Pension Administration & Payroll and Employee Payroll Services. Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service (DSFRS) are in the extension periods of their contract with their current provider, for the provision of Fire Pension Administration & Payroll and Employee Payroll Services. The Objective of the upcoming tender process is to award a five (5) year contract with 2 potential extensions each of 12 months. Additional information: The supplier consultation is being run via the Bluelight e-tendering portal (EU Supply). Suppliers are able to access the Supplier Consultation Questionnaire via the following link: https://uk.eu-supply.com/ctm/supplier/publictenders?B=BLUELIGHT and by searching for either no 26747 or DS223-17 The supplier consultation should then appear for you to be able to accept the invitation. Upon your acceptance, you will automatically have access to the questionnaire within the 'Access Documents' section. Please note that you have to be registered within the e-tendering portal and logged in to be able to accept the invitation.
