Different feeds can be used for different sports and events, depending on the supplier. The requirement set out in this ITT is predominately for BBC Sports output for TV and online, although other areas of the BBC may access the service e.g. BBC Nations (i.e. BBC Scotland/BBC Wales/BBC N. Ireland) may do so in order to feed their local graphics output requirements for sport coverage. The BBC is looking to purchase a single tenderer contract for the provision of processing sport data, querying data via an API and data storage from external third party suppliers. As the data is split across Online and TV, the BBC requires the tenderer to be able to provide and support 2 subset functions under the contract. The contract will commence on 1.4.2019, to allow for the implementation period. The contract will have an operational term of three (3) years commencing on completion of the implementation period, and no later than 1.12.2019. The contract value is 200 000 GBP - 700 000 GBP. This maximum is based on the full possible extensions that will be available, and includes the implementation period. Additional information: In the case of technology requirements, the BBC may involve its technology partner (Atos IT Solutions andServices Ltd) to assist in the scoping and drafting of invitations to tender and/or the evaluation of tenders.However, the final decision as to which is the most economically advantageous (by reference to the awardcriteria) will be made by the BBC.
