Advice will be required to be given to each Council on any treasury management and capital related issues (including any housing issues where relevant), but specific requirements include: Strategic Advice * Advice and guidance on the preparation of the treasury management, borrowing and investment strategy (TMSS), prudential indicators, minimum revenue provision (MRP) policy, capital financing requirement and MRP calculations. * Advice and guidance on legislative changes, including but not limited to MiFID II, MMF regulation changes, Brexit etc. * Risk appraisal for Treasury and Capital activities. * Identification and appraisal of potential suitable investment products and debt instruments. * Intelligence / analysis on market developments and new products. * Recommend and approve a list of investment counterparties suitable for use, together with advice on limits and duration. * Recommend, approve and advise on a list of Brokers suitable for use. * Recommend, approve and advise on a list of Custody account providers.",
