Such a mechanism - known as a \"network code\" - would be used by the police to govern their design, procurement, operation and development of information communication technology (ICT). The purpose and overriding principle of the network code should be true interoperability and the efficient, economical and effective establishment and reform of ICT standards and ICT procurement, and the good faith of all in policing in working to achieve that. To Note: Time is of the essence and there will only be a limited period of approximately 2 weeks between commission and completion of stage one of this assignment. This should be considered when submitting your tender.
