"description": "The current homecare commissioning model in CCC operates a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), that is open and closed regularly for new applicants to join. There is no limit on geographical areas. The Homecare DPS currently runs until 2027. CCC are looking to change the process used and improve the care received by Service Users throughout the county. To better understand the market, several activities were undertaken over the course of six months, from April to November 2021 to engage and encourage feedback from service users, providers and internal stakeholders. The purpose of stakeholder engagement was to understand the exact issues the market was facing under the existing contract / model and work together to create ideas on how to mitigate / meet needs of market by co-producing what the new model should look like to ensure it meets all needs and is realistic. CCC are now looking for external market feedback on the new proposed model.",
