Downholme Bridge is a three span stone arch structure, carries a minor road across the River Swale from the A6108 to Marske, west of Richmond. The main flow of the river is through the highest arch near the A6108. This is on the outside of the river meander. The A6108 runs parallel to the river at this location and is c.8m above the bed.",
