"description": "Current Situation: Cambridgeshire County Council currently has three homes for learning disabled children and young people aged 8-18 years, which deliver overnight short breaks and long term care. These are currently delivered by one external Provider. Two of the homes deliver overnight short breaks for about sixty children and young people aged 8-18 years of age and the other home has capacity to deliver long term care for up to four young people. Scenario of the situation: The Local Authority is trying to understand the market to whether any external Providers would be interested in responding to a tender to run the homes from October 2020. Our Requirements: To ensure outstanding and good quality service delivery of and in the current homes and to support service development and change moving forward. Interested providers should contact Anita Hewson (anita.hewson@cambridgeshire.gov.uk) by Friday 18th October 2019.",
