When creating the evaluation spreadsheet for the award stage questions, the council identified a number of errors within its published tender documentation, specifically in the Instructions to Tenderers stated evaluation criteria for lot specific questions 6.1.14 and 6.1.15 with regard to the applicable lots which bidders should respond to and Section 6 Tender Award questions where the lot specific answers were requested. The council has determined it is necessary to amend these errors only to ensure that the council can achieve its duties in relation to best value, transparency and equal treatment of all bidders as these errors could have caused bidders some confusion. The council is therefore abandoning the current tender process and will be issuing a new tender.
