These discussions have resulted in some delays. There is therefore a need to seek an extension to the current contract between BHRUT and G4S Facilities Management (UK) Ltd. Similarly ongoing discussions are required between the other ICS Partner Trusts and their respective third party NEPT providers. -- An extension of contract is required to ensure business/service continuity for a vital service. Other options were appraised but were not operationally/financially viable. It is the trust's intention to procure, award and go live with a new contract during the 12-month extension period; having fully mobilised and gone live for a new contract start date of 1 April 2021.
