We aim to develop a system that can offer individuals a choice of accessible and relevant services that enable them to recover from the harms caused by substance misuse (drugs and alcohol) and work together to provide a voice for and to safeguard children. In line with the national strategy, the service will apply a resilience-based approach to preventing misuse and facilitating recovery and the model must ensure that service delivery is fully integrated with provisions from within the wider health and wellbeing universal services.
