Atlantas Marine Ltd is the only authorised UK supplier of the Videoray Defender ROV which in turn is the only ROV on the market that meets both the Royal Navy Project A Experimentation team's and the DSTL MIE ROV project team's proportionate and non-discriminatory specifications. In addition to acquire ROVs which have different technical characteristics to the existing VideoRay Defender ROVs operated by the UK MOD would result in incompatibility between the UKMOD's existing ROVs and/or disproportionate technical difficulties in the operation or maintenance of the existing ROVs.",
