        "procurementMethodRationale": "Magnox Limited is intending to modify the current contract with Spaciotempo UK pursuant to Regulation 72(1)(b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Magnox considers that the modification to the current contract is necessary. Firstly, a change of contractor cannot be made for interchangeability and interoperability reasons. There would be significant health and safety implications resulting from a change of contractor, including but not limited to from a licence condition perspective in respect of LC34 (Leakage and Escape of Radioactive Material and Radioactive Waste) and LC32 (Accumulation of Radioactive Waste). Secondly, a change of contractor would cause significant inconvenience and an increase in cost, with a significant consequential cost of moving waste from H10, B351 and B525. Finally, the increase in price does not exceed 50% of the value of the original contract with Spaciotempo UK."
