Aberdeen City Council are looking for a single Service Provider to provide a Counselling Service within the Aberdeen City Area. Where possible this must be provided face to face, however we would be willing to explore online provision also. The successful Tenderer shall provide at all times suitably qualified and competent staff as approved by the Council to undertake the work. All staff delivering counselling should hold the minimum qualifications detailed below: Accredited member of either one of the following professional bodies: - British Psychological Society (BPS) - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP); or - COSCA Counselling and Psychology in Scotland or equivalent. All requirements of the above professional bodies must be complied with. PLEASE NOTE: Scottish Government funding of 466,000 GBP is a recurring annual payment identified to support counselling in secondary schools and for children and young people aged 10 and above who have additional support needs.
