The procurement strategy was to award a maximum of 3 suppliers per lot per area (nine areas) Following evaluation, it was identified that to deliver a framework fit for purpose and provide resource of three suppliers per lot per area, a single source event needed to be carried out to strengthen the framework in the area of Cumbria. This framework agreement is to support NGN in delivering a large portfolio of operational projects & works orders. This framework will assist NGN's Operations to engage with a suite of contracted suppliers pre-qualified to carry out associated works. The estimated total annual value of work delivered under this framework will be in the region of PS450k, circa 1,300 purchase orders per annum. For Cumbria the estimated annual value of work will be PS15k per annum. NGN are awarding an additional single sourced supplier onto a zero value framework agreement. (to support the 9 suppliers awarded via an above threshold tender event). The supplier will not be asked to carry out any works for the lots that were awarded as part of the original tender.
