The witness does not need to have provided a statement to or been interviewed by the police or be required to attend court as a witness. The service should be delivered as a hybrid model with staff splitting their working time between Cambridgeshire Constabulary's Victim and Witness Hub (currently at Copse Court, Peterborough) and home or locations within the community.
