Due to the extreme and continuing market volatility, suppliers are unwilling to enter into contracts for the forseeable future. Under Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992, Electric Ireland, as the incumbent supplier, will continue to supply electricity to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council under a Deemed Contract. This arrangement will last until prevailing market conditions allow a new tendering exercise, or 31st March 2023, whichever is soonest"
