Tens of thousands of teachers continue to rely on it for support for lesson planning and curriculum development. In September 2022, Oak became an independent arms length body of the Department for Education, seeking to support the reduction of teacher workload and increase curriculum expertise.Oak's purpose is to improve pupil outcomes and close the disadvantage gap by supporting teachers to teach, and pupils to access, a high quality curriculum. Oak will achieve this by continuing to work with schools, teachers and the wider education system to create and support the use of world class digital education products built around our rigorous, high quality curriculum.This procurement is to appoint multiple Curriculum Partners (Suppliers) to provide existing curriculum sequences and lesson resources and develop these to create a national, coherent curriculum with Full Curriculum Packages to support teachers in-class. The Full Curriculum packages must fully align with the standards of the national curriculum.Oak's Full Curriculum Packages will comprise:a) Curriculum information: overview, sequence of content and units of learning including key knowledge, vocabulary and skillsb) Full sets of lesson materials: slides, worksheets, quizzes, teacher guidance and video lessonsThese final Full Curriculum Packages will then be made available for free, entirely optionally, and accessible on demand for schools, on Oak's platforms.It is anticipated that the range of services required from Curriculum Partners will include:Provision of existing Curriculum and Lesson Resources to underpin the development of Full Curriculum Packages. Provision & contract management of a high quality team to include a curriculum design lead and subject specialist teachers and reviewers to develop the Full Curriculum Packages to agreed specification.The above is neither exhaustive nor a final requirement.
