        "procurementMethodRationale": "The MOD engaged with two other universities as well as the awarded Kingston University for an initial four months, all 3 providers have strong Science And Engineering faculties. Engagement included face to face meetings, email chains and Skype-calls. Initial positive responses from all 3 potential providers were received, however, correspondence from the two other Universities stopped and there was no further development or interest in the course. Communication was stopped on the side of the potential suppliers, and only the awarded University continued discussion regarding the provision of works. Therefore, Kingston University were the viable option, and keen to progress the course in a timeline that meets the Military Aviation Authority's need, as well as having an excellent faculty in the field. Kingston has been chosen to pilot the PGCert."
