This programme combines medical and mountaineering training in a highly practical fashion, with much of the course content being delivered in mountainous terrain both in the UK and abroad. We bring in medical expertise from a range of clinicians from across the UK. Alongside this we are using qualified mountain guides who come in to ensure both safety (for university staff and students) and deliver training from their specialist mountaineering expertise. A \"Lead Guide\" will provide advice and input to the planning and organisation of the programme.",
