It is a specialist roof (Plygene) and CITB have had the manufacturer complete a survey to establish the remedial works required. Due to the specialist nature of the repairs, the manufacturer identified 3 local contractors who are approved to work on this type of system. Out of the 3 suppliers contacted, one opted not to quote and the other failed to respond to CITB's request for quote. Due to the time restraints, a full tender is not viable at present."
