The psychological support market is developing to keep pace with the growing demand. Recognising the need for face to face support for young people who may need help with their feelings, interventions need to be accessible within the local geography. Solent NHS Trust has considered market capability and capacity within the South East geography and has identified a limited provider market. As such, Solent NHS Trust believe that Yellow Door are the only local organisation at this time with the experience and capability of supporting the delivery of Domestic Violence and Gender Dysphoria Support in children and young people across Southampton. It is Solent NHS Trust's intention therefore to award a contract to Yellow Door.
