        "description": "The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is the UK's National Measurement Institute and is a world-leading centre of excellence in developing and applying the most accurate measurement standards, science, and technology available. NPL provides a measurement service which performs antenna calibrations for UK, European and worldwide businesses. These businesses undertake antenna testing and therefore require traceability to international standards and/or UKAS, which NPL provides. A network vector analyser (VNA) plays an essential role in such measurement service. Therefore NPL wishes to procure a current-generation VNA by extending the VNA measurement capability to 4-port and its operating frequency range to 50 GHz, which will operate at a higher tier of performance, support multiport antenna measurements at mm-wave frequency bands, delivering faster data transfer, higher accuracy and greater functionality.
