"description": "NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB is seeking suitably qualified and capable providers to deliver their Termination of Pregnancy Service (TOPS) via an Any Qualified Provider (AQP)

The service is split into 2 Lots:
Early Termination: Up to 13 weeks + 6 days Late
Termination: Over 14 weeks and up to 24 weeks
Up to 14 weeks gestation service will include the following aspects:
* Booking Service to pre-termination assessment clinic
* Community pre-termination assessment clinic either face to face consultation or telemedicine
* Early medical terminations of pregnancy up to 14 weeks gestation; or
* Referral to provider of late terminations of pregnancy 14 to 23 weeks plus 6 days gestation
Objectives of the service:
* To offer high quality, impartial support and advice to all Service Users who request a termination of pregnancy, regardless of age, ethnicity, language, culture, disability, sexual orientation, religious or personal circumstances.
* To provide Service Users with access to a termination of pregnancy as early as possible.
* To provide a culturally sensitive and confidential service.
* To provide termination of pregnancy methods clinically appropriate for a Service User's gestation and clinical circumstances.
* To improve the sexual health of Service Users through proactively offering sexual health screening and treatment as appropriate for Chlamydia, other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV. To provide information and advice on all methods of contraception, (with particular emphasis on the promotion of LARC) and the supply of the full range of reversible contraceptive methods.
