This agreement includes the carrying out of necessary works for the provision of the electricity.
The works are made up of majority Non-Contestable works, as such UKPN (as Distribution Network Operator for the area) are the only provider permitted to deliver these works.
Further, given the high level of resilience, full 132 kV accreditation, security requirements, commercial agreement obligations, complex interface and programming criticality issues that exist for the project, UKPN are the sole provider that possess the technical ability to provide the works."
