After the first successful round of PPME the Council is seeking further advice and opinions from the market to help with the decision-making process. Opinions are sought regarding the outcomes of the suggested and proposed revised model ahead of opening the tender process for these services.The Council currently commissions a range of services to support people living in the community with dementia and their carers, including: Hertswise - Dementia Service in Hertfordshire, a partnership of organisations led by Age UK Hertfordshire; Alzheimer's Society's post diagnostic support service and Herts Dementia Information and Support Service; and the Admiral Nursing Service, hosted by Carers in Herts. The Council will consider any feedback received from this Phase 2 stage to help inform the Council's options and further decision making.
